With the USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter, you can connect a Mac or iPad Pro that has a USB-C port to an HDMI display, while also connecting a standard USB device and a USB-C charging cable.

This adapter allows you to stream your Mac or iPad Pro display to a TV or display with an HDMI port in formats up to 1080p at 60Hz or UHD (3840 x 2160) at 30Hz. This adapter also produces output video content such as movies and recorded videos. Just plug the adapter into the USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) port on your Mac or iPad Pro, then to a TV or projector via an HDMI cable (sold separately).

Use a standard USB port to connect devices such as a flash drive or camera or a USB cable for syncing and charging an iPhone, iPad, or iPod. You can also connect the charging cable to the USB-C port to charge your Mac or iPad Pro.
